Report on 3rd Annual General Meeting of Kolkata Welfare Association of Small Shareholders held on 8/6/2018 at Rammohan Library Hall at 3pm.

As per Schedule the 3rd Annual General Meeting of Kolkata Welfare Association of Small Shareholders held on Friday, the 8th June, 2018 at Rammohan Library Hall, Kol-9 at 3 pm. About 90 members were present at the Meeting. The President chaired the meeting and discussed about  the need of such organization, present activity and its future planning. The Vice President discussed about the overall activity of the Association with special emphasis on the role of shareholders. The Secretary taken the main role for approval of Agenda i.e taken the members approval of passing the Audited Balance Sheet and formation of Executive Body for 2018-19. The Assistant Secretary explained the role of Medical Bank in the present Society, how members of KWASS benefited from the same and also the need of the members of KWASS to become a member of Medical Bank in a very lucid language. Mr. Ram Gopal Chkraborty, Mr Ashim Dey & Mr Prodyut Kr Chanda delivered their  speech at the podium.The meeting concluded at about 5.30 pm and all members present at the meeting were entertained with a Gift Coupon. KWASS convey sincere thanks to all the members present at the meeting and specially Mr Pijush Dutta, Pradip Kr Sarkar, Dilip Kr Das,Jaydip Bakshi & Nayeem Mallick for extending their helping hand to conduct the AGM smoothly.

SEMINER on MUTUAL FUND held at Hotel Conclave on 2nd June, 2018 jointly organised by ICICI & KWASS

You are all aware that it is one of the main objective of Kolkata Welfare Association of Small Shareholders to educate our members in different field of Financial Market. To achieve that objective, a series of PROGRAMME & SEMINERS are being conducted with a number of reputed Financial Institutions at various Reputed Hotels from time to time throughout the year. One such SEMINER on Mutual Fund held on today i.e.2/6/2018 at Hotel Conclave, jointly organised by ICICI & KWASS. The SEMINER was attended by 15 member participants. The programme started at 12noon and continued about two hours followed by Lunch.

We are already negotiating with a Reputed Financial Organisation to conduct one Mega  SEMINER at Kolkata in the month of July in a Five Star Hotel for 200 Members. We shall inform the developments to the members in due time.

It is to be noted that it is our practice  to invite all new members in different SEMINERS on priority basis, so that they can familiar with the objective of our Association.
